Pictures and graphs coming soon. In 2010 I held at 250 pounds for most of the year. I lost 5 pounds in about a month. I then joined weight watchers and lost 15 pounds in 15 weeks. I quit weighing in right around the first of the year and gained back about 7-8 pound over a 3 month period. For the last few months, I have been weighing in every week, but have been in a maintenance mode. On 5/24 I weighed in at 235.4 and on 8/2 I weighed in at 236. In a several month period, my wieght only changed by 1/2 pound. By weighing in every week, I have accomplished maintaining and not gaining. If I were not weighing in every week, I would have put on everything I lost. I only gained when I was not weighing in.
I now on Tuesday 8/2/2011 have committed to loosing the one pound a week I was once loosing. I plan to do this for 50 weeks and loose 50 pounds in about a years time.
My motivation is that I need at least on area of my life that is going right. My life just got complicated with some issues that can cause depression. I found when I was loosing the one pound a week, it offset the other issues and I was able to focus on something positive.
